Corrib RFC is a community built on teamwork, respect, and shared purpose. As the club continues to grow, we’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help us off the pitch.
Whether your skills are in coordination, safeguarding, development, or administration, there’s a role for you in the team behind the teams.
Available Volunteer Roles
Coach/Referee Academy Administrator
What you'll do:
Support the development of future Corrib RFC coaches and referees
Welcome and enrol new academy participants
Help candidates complete vetting, safeguarding, and training
Track their progress and provide support along the way
Sign off and certify participants once completed
A bit about you:
You’re passionate about rugby and love helping others succeed
You’re friendly, organised, and good at following up
Comfortable working from home, with occasional in-person meetings

Club Welfare Officer (CWO)
What you'll do:
Act as the main contact for player welfare and safeguarding
Ensure vetting and training compliance across all age-grade volunteers
Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful club environment
Work closely with the Connacht Rugby Branch Welfare Officer
Maintain accurate welfare records and documentation
A bit about you:
You care deeply about player safety and child wellbeing
You’re approachable, discreet, and a great communicator
Some experience working with young people is a bonus
Training will be provided - no prior experience required

Youth Coordinator
What you'll do:
Coordinate the running of our underage rugby programme
Act as a link between the rugby committee, coaches, and parents
Help with fixtures, training schedules, and club-wide communication
Attend monthly rugby committee meetings
A bit about you:
You’re enthusiastic, organised, and love working with kids and coaches
Great at communication and bringing people together
Some knowledge of rugby or coaching is helpful but not required

Membership Officer / Registrar
What you'll do:
Manage membership records through the centralised IRFU RugbyConnect system
Validate memberships and support coaches with team lists
Track registration progress and liaise with the rugby committee
Assist with team formation and player eligibility
A bit about you:
You’re tech-savvy and confident using admin systems and spreadsheets
Reliable and detail-oriented
Comfortable communicating with coaches and parents via email and phone
